Insulation performance
Company-reported: ice remains unmelted for 60 hours at 25°C ambient without frequent opening. That is the number we quote in OEM discussions.
Real-world performance depends on how the cooler is used. Frequent opening, direct sun exposure, pre-chilled contents, and how the ice is packed all change the outcome. If your program needs a specific retention target verified under your own test protocol, the engineering team can review wall construction and sealing during DFM.
Customization options (OEM)
The 10QT platform is sold as an OEM/ODM program, which means the product is built to your brand rather than ours.
- Capacity — alternate internal volumes can be developed on a new custom mold for your program.
- Color — shell color matched to your specification, with colorimeter verification on molded parts.
- LOGO and branding — logo applied through the mold or other agreed decoration.
- Mold type — multi-cavity, overmold, gas-assist, collapsible-core, and other mold constructions are available where they suit the part design. Molds up to 15 tons.
- Packaging and assembly — assembly support and packaging configuration as part of the one-stop scope.

Manufacturing: mold and molding in-house
The cooler shell is not sourced out. Maidder handles the full chain: product development, 3D printing for early samples, mold and fixture manufacturing, injection molding, foam molding, and assembly.
- Mold manufacturing — CNC machining, EDM, and wire cutting, supported by an independent design department.
- Injection molding — Yizumi and Tairui machines from 130T to 500T, running 24-hour shifts.
- DFM and simulation — DFM reports available, and free Moldflow analysis for complex, high-precision products.
- Measurement — CMM, vision measuring instruments, calipers, colorimeter, melt flow indexer, and Minitab statistical software.
The founder's mold design leadership goes back to 2006, with pre-2016 careers at Junyi, Foxconn-group Fugang, and Fuyu. Maidder was founded in 2016 in Hengli Town, Dongguan. That background is why tooling decisions on a cooler program — gate location, cooling layout, warpage control on a large flat shell — get reviewed before steel is cut rather than after.
